Writing That Sells

You’re tired. I get it.

Tired of the hunt for help, tired of getting minimal results. You simply want good help that makes you money.
Perhaps I should introduce myself.

My name is Willem MacLean,
Student of Communications and Journalism. Writing and marketing fanatic. Lover of Life. Renaissance Man for the People.

As a former chef, my passion for the culinary arts still courses through my veins. The whirlwind of the commercial kitchen during a busy service. The beautiful, dainty looking plates being prepared by an underappreciated behemoth subjected to the very back of the restaurant. The after-work camaraderie of a tough-as-nails crew, who just battled their way through a terrifyingly busy dinner service on New Year’s Eve, only to share a beer with each other by the dishwasher as the clock strikes midnight.

However, I have moved on to bigger challenges. More daunting than any rushed kitchen service.
I have chosen to throw myself into the world of MARKETING.

In my free time, I enjoy writing articles, research papers, blogs, copy of all kind, you get the idea. Don’t tell my friends, but I’m kind of a nerd.
I’m a man who stays on top of all social media trends, watching and listening as the buzz of the online world whirls past my eyes. Taking in everything the internet has to offer.

With a passion and educational background in marketing, advertising, content creation, and writing, hiring me is the perfect way for you to amp up creativity. Watch me turn your followers into customers, and turn your brand into a lifestyle.

Self-educated in Analytics and SEO, with a special sweet spot for blogging and curated social media copywriting, it’s my goal to bring success to myself and everyone around me.

“The secret of success is to do the common thing uncommonly well.” ~ John D. Rockefeller Jr.

Vancouver Eats: The Unhinged Food Blog

Lunch Lady

This absolute gem is somehow tucked away right in the heart of Commercial Drive, conspicuously hidden behind a cheesy mural consisting of a cliché Vietnamese street scene, with a little surprise once you look closer. Immortalized in the heart of the mural is none other than the late and great Mr. Anthony Bourdain.

Learn all about Anthony Bourdain’s involvement in this Vancouver restaurant, and my take on the epic menu they are featuring.
